Amadeo is a mexican filmmaker and self-taught painter. He is deeply attracted to the painting of Van Gogh, Gonzales Camarena, Henry Russeau. He has special admiration for the cinema of Kurosawa and Herzog. At the age of 16 started his career as a stage director in a chamber opera called Bastiano y Bastiana, by Mozart, at the Ocampo Theater in the city of Cuernavaca, Morelos.At the age of 27, he graduated from the NYFA Film Program in Los Angeles. His work and interest have taken different facets, such as the design of audio-visual communication for civil associations, music video production for rock bands, teaching film and serving as guidance for film students in creativity development. The documentary feature film “The Search of the Apalamich” compiles his experiences in the jungle and education as a road-movie. The shortfilm series “Secret Stories of my Paintings” delves into the world of his pictorial work.
